The Eastford Independent Fire Co. No #1 Is a 100% Volunteer Fire Department, Located in the rural area of Eastford Connecticut. The Deapartment is manned with a team of 19 FireFighters/EMT's that donate there time willingly to serve Eastford and other mutual aid towns such as, Ashford, Woodstock, Pomfret, Chaplin. The department cheif is John Paquin he has been cheif for 9 years, Donating alot of his time away from home to the Fire Service.
